Meet Our Team

In 2018, Ambren Travel expanded to bring on additional experienced travel agents to help service our clients as the business grew. We each have an area of focus, but we can all handle every type of travel request - from cruises and all-inclusive vacations, to Disney and luxury travel. Whether your heart is set on a European adventure, or you are in search of a relaxing tropical oasis, we can work to create the perfect vacation for you! We also have experience with large groups, destination weddings, and honeymoons.

What inspired you to become a travel agent?
I’ve always had a love for traveling and exploring new places. I have traveled extensively through Europe and have also been to New Zealand and Australia. I have sailed on many cruises, traveled to the Caribbean and Mexico, honeymooned in Bora Bora and traveled within the United States as well. I found myself helping family and friends plan vacations, and decided to start my own travel agency. And so began Ambren Travel in 2012!

Where did you come up with the name "Ambren Travel”?
My children’s names are Amelia & Brendan, thus, "Am-Bren" Travel.

What are your favorite trips to plan?
I really enjoy putting together land and cruise packages and custom itineraries. I love working with clients that aren’t sure exactly what they want to do or don’t know how to put all the elements together seamlessly. I listen to what clients want out of a vacation; how they like to travel, what type of atmosphere they prefer, and what they like to do. I take this information and present initial choices, and then we tweak from there to create the perfect itinerary.

What are your favorite places to travel?
My husband and I started traveling with our children when they were babies. We have taken them on cruises, to Turks & Caicos, Hawaii, New York City, trips to Disney World & Disneyland, domestic getaways and so far they have been to five countries in Europe! Out of all of my travels, New Zealand probably captured my heart the most, but I love Europe and go as often as I can. I find time to cruise at least once a year, too!

What inspired you to become a travel agent?
One of my favorite books growing up was the Rand McNally Atlas. My parents frequently piled us into the car to drive across the country to visit relatives or to vacation.  I loved following our journey and finding out what was near our route. My passion for travel only grew as I got older.

I married an active duty Airman and had two children. Disney World became one of our favorite trips. I quickly became the resident expert and found myself helping other military families plan their trips as well. I took such joy in the planning process!

What are your favorite trips to plan?
Besides family vacations, I specialize in Destination Weddings.  I love that I can take the load off, so the Bride and Groom can enjoy their special event without dealing with the details! I also specialize in multi-generational trips, honeymoons, and group travel.  I look forward to helping you make your vacation dreams come true.

What are your favorite places to travel?
My husband eventually retired from the military and we now reside near Atlanta, Ga.  My kids are teens and we still enjoy our frequent trips to Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando resort. (My daughter is Harry Potter obsessed!). Ocean Cruising and All-Inclusive resorts are 2 of our other frequent vacations.

What inspired you to become a travel agent?
After high school, I found myself working for a major airline for several years. I left the stress of the airlines after having my first to children, working part time. As they grew, I went back to work full time for a non-profit in training and event planning. Being an avid Disney fan, I was routinely asked, and enjoyed, planning Disney vacations for family and friends. After the birth my youngest son, I left the corporate world behind to be a stay at home mom. I quickly realized that although I loved being home and taking care of my family, I needed more. Taking into consideration my life experiences, from watching orcas breech in Alaska to surfing in Hawaii, I decided to turn my love of vacation planning and family travel into a career.

What are your favorite trips to plan?
My focus in travel planning includes one of a kind custom experiences for family, multi-generational and group travel, from Disney to Cruises and everything in between. I look forward to bringing your family together and making amazing vacation memories of your own!

What are your favorite places to travel?
Born and raised in the Chicago area, I grew up in a big family. My parents believed that traveling was a chance to learn and experience new things. I spent many summer weeks on camping trips throughout North America and taking extended family vacations. The big joke in our family was that if there was a historical marker on the side of the road, we were making a stop. Through these travels, I grew not only to appreciate our National Parks, beaches and our country’s historical sites. Besides traveling extensively throughout the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), I have also travelled to Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and parts of Europe.

My family recently moved to the Orlando area, which gives me the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World frequently and keep up with the happenings around the parks, as well as everything Florida has to offer.
